Ordinance Committee Nomination

Brookside Village City Council has approved the formation of a volunteer Ordinance Committee. The Ordinance Committee will be responsible for reviewing existing ordinances for the purposes of evaluating their relevance and applicability, and making recommendations to City Council for updates or creation of new ordinances. The Ordinance Committee has no enforcement or decision making authority, but will provide City Council and will serve in an advisory capacity.

We are currently accepting nominations for members of this important committee. If you are, or know of, someone in our community who is deeply interested in helping our city develop and maintain an updated and relevant Code of Ordinances, please fill in the form below. Please note that the makeup and appointment of this committee is at the discretion of the Mayor and City Council. Not everyone who is nominated will serve on the Committee.
